Final Push

With the season moving into its final phases, the Ballarat Masters are gearing up for the “final push” and at the same time ramping up their community engagement efforts. The club’s Facebook page recently featured a call-out inviting local juniors and club members to attend the next home game as “Masters Guests”. The message: come see the footy, enjoy the refreshments, and stay for the social after-match. On the field, the team is looking at their structure for the last few games — fine-tuning midfield rotations, adjusting set-ups for the forward line, and ensuring every player gets game time to reflect our values of loyalty, teamwork, commitment and encouragement. GameDay +1 Off-field, the club is organising a “Family Fun Day” at Russell Square for the next home match, offering free entry to kids, sausage sizzle, and a chance to meet the players. This kind of open-house community connection is exactly what the Ballarat Masters are about. The committee has also used the club’s new digital platform to publish a “Sponsors Spotlight” feature this week, thanking local businesses who’ve backed the club and emphasising how vital such partnerships are for sustaining our fun-first, footy-for-all ethos. As we head toward the run-home, the club’s message is simple: let’s finish strong, let’s bring our best footy and let’s keep welcoming the wider Ballarat community into the fold. Whether you’re playing, coaching, volunteering or cheering from the sidelines — you’re part of this journey.
